Results from the WWE Smackdown Live from this week (4/25)

  1.  We start off with Renee Young in the ring introducing Shinsuke Nakamura, and out he comes to the ring. Renee Young was about to ask Skinsuke a question, but Dolph Ziggler interrupts them. Ziggler mocks Shinsuke, and tells lies about him. Then Shinsuke takes the mic from Ziggler and Ziggler hits him with a cheap shot. Nakamura turns it around, but Ziggler gets out of the ring.
  2. We get a preview of the SD Women’s Championship match including Naomi(c) and Charlotte. Then we see Aj Styles and Baron Corbin backstage with a matchup next to see who will be our new number one contender for the US Title (After the Jericho match at Payback). We go to commercial.
  3. We come back and Kevin Owens our US Champion is ringside along with JBL, Byron Saxton and Tom Philips. Then a preview of Kevin Owens vs Chris Jericho for the US Title at Payback. Out comes Aj Styles then Baron Corbin.
  4. #1 Contender Match for US Title- Aj Styles vs Baron Corbin: Aj Styles wins but Owens attacks Styles. Then Sami Zayn comes out and Owens gets out of the ring but Sami attacks Corbin. Kevin Owens gets back in the ring and cheap shots Sami Zayn and Aj Styles, then raises the US Title in the middle of the ring leaving Zayn, Styles and Corbin out cold.
  5. We see Charlotte getting interviewed about her title match tonight, and she says she’s going to beat Naomi and get the SD Women’s Championship. Then we see a preview of American Alpha vs The Colons (Shining Stars) to see who will be our #1 contender for the SD Tag Team Championships in a Beat the Clock matchup. Then we go to commercial.
  6. Back from the break, American Alpha come out first, and we get the rules for a Beat the Clock match, which are….
  7. 4 Tag Teams compete in two matches
  8. The winners of the first match will set the time to beat
  9. The winners of the second match must win before the clock expires
  10. The team with the fastest time becomes #1 contenders for the SD Tag Team Championships
  11. Then out comes The Colons. We get a clip from 2 weeks ago of The Uso’s vs American Alpha for the titles, which The Colons attacked American Alpha after the match. 
  12. Beat the Clock Match (first one)- American Alpha vs The Colons: American Alpha win in 5 minutes and 17 seconds
  13. Then we see the second Beat the Clock matchup which is Breezango vs The Ascension. Up comes a preview of Rusev with “Rusev Responds” which is next. Then to commercial. 
  14. We see a preview of New Day and that their “coming soon” to Smackdown Live soon. Then we see a pre recorded video of Rusev saying he wants a title match or he’s going back to Bulgaria!!
  15. Backstage we have an interview with Becky Lynch talking about Charlotte and her “methods” and then Natalya, Tamina, Carmella and James Ellsworth ask her if she’s “with us or without us”
  16. Back to the ring, we hear our WWE Champion, Randy Orton’s music hit, and he starts coming to the ring. The commentators tell us he has a match with Erik Rowan. Then we get a preview of the House of Horrors match between him and Bray Wyatt. Then we go to commercial.
  17. Back from commercial, Erik Rowan starts to come to the ring, and we get a clip of two weeks ago when Erik Rowan beats up Randy Orton after his match.
  18. Non Title and No DQ Match- Randy Orton vs Erik Rowan: Randy Orton wins after hitting the RKO, Orton says he’s ready for the House of Horrors match but then Jinder Mahal comes out and says he’s better than Orton and will win at Backlash. Mahal tried to attack Orton but he countered then the Bollywood boys help Mahal attack Orton.

    Then we get three previews, first one is the Women’s Championship match, the second Beat the Clock match and the third one is Lana is coming to Smackdown! And as a wrestler! Then to commercial

  19. We see that during commercial Jinder Mahal gets in a limo with the WWE Title! Then back to the ring, The Ascension are already in the ring, and we here Breezango’s music hit.
  20. Beat the Clock Match (second and last one)- Breezango vs The Ascension: Breezango wins in under 5 minutes and 17 seconds to become our new #1 contenders for the SD Tag Team Championships
  21. We see a another preview of the Women’s Title match which is our Main Event for tonight! Then to commercial.
  22. Back from the break, Neville says he’s going to beat Jack Gahlinger tonight at 205 Live. Then we see a Bray Wyatt clip saying he’ll beat Randy Orton at Backlash in the House of Horrors match, and a preview of the match.
  23. Backstage, Naomi is getting interviewed about her match tonight, and her music hits and she comes out, then we go to commercial.
  24. Back from commercial, Charlottes music hits and she comes to the ring in all blue!
  25. SD Women’s Title- Naomi(c) vs Charlotte: Tamina, Natalya and Carmella attack both Charlotte and Naomi. So our SD Women’s Champion is still Naomi
